Determining Panel Width & Fullness
The total fabric width used for your curtains will vary based on the header style to achieve the desired fullness (the waviness of the drape). Our "finished width" already accounts for the pre-set pleats or folds.
Example: If your rod or track length is 100 inches, you would typically order one 100-inch wide panel or two 50-inch wide panels to achieve proper coverage and fullness.
General Fullness Guidelines:
Understanding Stack Back (Open Drapery Width)
Stack back refers to the compressed width of the curtain when fully opened and "stacked" to the side of your window. Considering stack back is crucial if you want to maximize your window's view when curtains are open. Grommet tops generally have the least stack back.
Adjustable Pin Hooks
Many of our pleated styles come with adjustable white hooks that feature a ratchet system. This allows for approximately 3 inches of vertical adjustment, which is incredibly useful for fine-tuning the curtain length and ensuring your curtains hang perfectly. Hooks are included with applicable styles; curtain rod rings are not included unless specified.
